Quality Process

Quality Policy 


RiceOne goes by the philosophy that “Quality is not an act, it’s a Habit”. Our top most priority has been always the Quality of our Rice we produce and that’s the reason we have achieved the reputation in the market for what we are today!!!!


We are accredited with ISO 9001:2008, HACCP, FASSAI, GMP certifications which we strictly adhere to.  We make no compromise on the quality and follow very stringent norms.


We have well trained & dedicated Quality professionals who work with the defined standards without any deviations at any point right from the procurement of Paddy, storing, milling, packing & warehousing. We also conduct Internal & External Audit in our mill and have periodic checks on the quality process.


Quality Methodology 


We have a well equipped laboratory where in we check for our Rice quality backed by trained professional.


We follow the standard norms and have a thorough analysis of processed Rice. Apart from the lab tests, we also conduct cooking test to analyse the Rice quality. For every batch production the quality is checked and then given approval for packing.


Quality Checks


At every single stage during the process, we have a well structured & standard SOP’s for quality checks:Paddy Procurements - Moisture limit, Foreign contamination, Color, Size, Chalkiness, damage, purity etc.


Warehousing - selection of storage structure, cleaning & fumigation, drying & cleaning grains, cleaning of bags, separate storage for old & new stock, use of dunnage, proper aeration, periodical inspection etc.


Milling – Cleaning, sanitation, scheduled maintenance of machineries, disposal of unrelated material etc.


Packing – Weights, Measurement, labelling, bag tests, stitching, sealing etc.


Logistics – Fumigation of Lorry, time record, prompt delivery etc


Export Shipment – 3rd party inspection, Container fumigation, on time delivery at the port, selection of good liners, shorter transit time etc.
